Children

Childcare is offered for babies and toddlers by loving volunteers every Sunday during worship. The room is fully stocked with age-appropriate, safe toys for these children. It features safe sleeping spaces for children, a changing table, books, and light music CDs. Parents are welcome to stay with their children in our Crib Room or their children are also welcome in worship, whatever families are most comfortable with!   

Church School is offered every Sunday during the school year, with special activities in the summer months. We begin church school each Sunday with the sharing of our joys and concerns, a bible lesson and then activity. Our children collect an offering each week, half of which goes to a Presbyterian mission project of the children’s choosing. All children, visitors, and guests are welcome!!!!!

Pastor Shannan is teaching a Sacrament Class for 3rd-5th graders on Sunday February 19 and 26, 2012.   There is reading for parents to help guide conversations at home with their children for each Sacrament:

BAPTISM:  Sunday Feburary 19, 2012

COMMUNION:  Sunday February 26, 2012

Confirmation Class is offered usually in the 8th grade and at WAPC is offered every-other year. This is an extended time of orientation for our youth into the life of the church, and at the end of confirmation class they make vows of membership. If you would like to sign your youth up for confirmation class please contact the church office.
